About this tour

Everest Base Camp Trek is a very popular and most visited trekking place in Nepal. The altitude of Everest is 8,848.86 meters. We Wilderness Outdoors Pvt ltd organized an Everest Base Camp trek for the Adventurous peoples of all around the world. The highest altitude we’ll climb is 5364m at the base camp. The trail leads you to different kinds of flora and fauna like Birch Juniper, Blue Pines, Musk Deer, Snow Leopard, Himalayan Black Bear, and Red Panda.

Interesting Fact: Mt. Everest is also known as ‘Sagarmatha’ in Nepali Language which means Goddess of the Sky and ‘Chomolungma’ in Tibetan language which means the mother goddess of the World.

Itinerary

  • Arrive in Kathmandu (Alt. 1400m), our office representative will pick you up from the airport and will drive you to the hotel (Approx. 45min).
  • We’ll give a short briefing about your trekking trip and we’ll explain everything about your trips like accommodation, includes, excludes and others.
  • Evening, explore around the nearest Trekking Gear Shop and get all the necessary Trekking gears and equipment that you have forgotten to bring with you to be prepared for the trekking.
  • Spend the night at the hotel in Kathmandu.

  • We’ll drive from the hotel to the domestic airport early in the morning (Approx. 30min) and fly to Lukla (Alt. 2860m) (Approx. 35min) and have breakfast at a teahouse.
  • Then we’ll start the trek to Phakding (Situated by the riverside) (Alt. 2610m) crossing through Dudhkoshi river trail and Pine & Hemlock forest which leads you toward the overnight Camp (Approx. 5-6 hrs).

  • In the Morning, we’ll have breakfast and start the trek to Namche (Alt. 3440m), the trail that leads with a Suspension bridge across Dudh Koshi river with Pine and Rhododendron forest (Approx. 5-6 hrs).
  • Interesting Fact: Rhododendron is the national flower of Nepal.
    On the way, we perceive Sherpa Village like Monjo and Jorsale and the living lifestyle of the people.
  • We’ll spend the night at the Teahouse/Lodger at Namche.

  • Day 4 will be the Acclimatization day at the altitude of 3440m in Namche Bazaar to adjust your body to high altitude and avoid altitude sickness later during the trekking. 
  • We’ll explore around and visit the Sherpa Museum and the Tenzing Norge statue in Namche Bazar. Where you can get information about Sherpa Culture, tradition, religion, and the Sherpa Climber as well.
  • We’ll explore other main attraction places like the Healing center, Namche Library, and Namche Monastery. 
  • We’ll again spend the night at the Teahouse/Lodge at Namche.

Your tour will conclude in San Francisco on Day 8 of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city!

Day 1 of this tour is an arrivals day, which gives you a chance to settle into your hotel and explore Los Angeles. The only planned activity for this day is an evening welcome meeting at 7pm, where you can get to know your guides and fellow travellers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
