About this tour

UNESCO World Heritage Sites – Kathmandu is the historical and cultural capital city of Nepal. It is known as the largest city with about 3 million population densities. In ancient times, the valley had been a separate kingdom in itself containing three fabled cities Patan, Kathmandu, and Bhaktapur. Which is known as Kathmandu Valley.

There is a fabled belief that before the creation of the valley, the place was fully covered by water or just the shape of a giant lake. Later drained the water became a dried place; today that place is known as Kathmandu  Valley. The valley was recognized by the historical name of Nepal Mandala which flourished with magnificent arts, cultures, ancient heritages, and religions of the valley.

The beautifully carved windows, brick masons, bronze sculptures, temples, ancient museums, and Buddhist stupas are the assets of the valley. Nepal is the only country that worships women as a living goddess which is known as Kumari. Indigenous people from Kathmandu celebrate Kumari  Jatra which began in the mid-18th century.

The date of celebration is changeable according to the lunar calendar. It is a captivating religious festival in the Kathmandu Valley. The valley is the core pilgrimage place for both Hinduism and Buddhism religions. Kathmandu Valley includes numerous Hindu temples and Buddhist monasteries.

The valley is surrounded by hills with beautiful landscapes, a multicultural community, and people’s lives with their norms and values. Excellent views of forests and rivers flowing through the city are astonishing aspects of the valley.
